Discipleship 101: Unit 2 – Ways of Prayer

If you would like to get a jump start on your prayer life for the new year, or if you would like to draw closer to God in your Discipleship Journey, then this class is for you.

This is part of our flagship course that we encourage everyone at LJC to take.  During this Zoom-based coronavirus period, we’re offering this course in four 4-week units.  This is the second unit, but don’t worry if you missed the first, they can be taken in any order. The other units, which you can register for later, cover following Jesus, Bible study, church life together, and how you fit into the work of God in this world.  When you complete these units, you will be eligible to become a voting member of LifeJourney Church.

Faith in the Shadows: Finding Christ in the Midst of Doubt

Sundays 6:00 – 7:00 pm, 13 weeks, starting September 13

In this course, we will study the book by the same title written by Austin Fischer.  We will cover one chapter per week.  As we discuss the text, we will look in the face of our doubts and discover that God can handle them.  We will learn that faith is not the absence of doubt, but the pressing through it.  We will experience that what is brought into the light, God, the great physician, can finally heal.  Each participant will need to purchase a copy of the book.
