Thousands of transgender soldiers are currently openly, honorably, and lawfully serving in the U.S. military. This morning, the President announced his intention to dismantle that policy. His statement seems to indicate that even those who have been welcomed into the military while openly transgender will be kicked out, destroying their careers and dishonoring their service.
